How to Start a Conversation with a PMCC (4th Watch) MemberYou may jump start a conversation with a 4th Watcher by asking him/her how long has he/she has been a member of PMCC and what made him/her decide to be a committed member of the group. Short History of PMCC - 4th Watch:The Pentecostal Missionary CHURCH of CHRIST - 4th Watch begun when Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol, then a pastor, claimed that he received an apostolic calling similar to that of apostles in Damascus. He was confused and overwhelmed by his "calling" and just continued with his livestock business while pastoring a local church under the Foursquare Church. Arsenio T. Ferriol claimed that God clearly impressed upon him that "sacred calling" through what he claimed as life threatening vehicular accident. Being a Pentecostal, his pain brought exaggerated emotional anguish on Arsenio T. Ferriol and vowed to heed the mysterious calling. From that time, Arsenio T. Ferriol operates his mission based on that apostolic calling and on September 22, 1973, he registered his group as a non-profit religious group. From a handful of followers under his "exclusive anointed leadership", the PMCC - 4th Watch grew and increased numerically and local churches were established in the Philippines and some major cities of the world. The PMCC - 4th Watch is clearly distinct and set apart from all genuine Christian churches in the issue of revelation in which Arsenio T. Ferriol alone knows they stand in God's timetable. "Apostle" Ferriol claimed that they alone are capable of fulfilling the perfection of the saints here on earth, exercise the complete operation of the gifts of the holy Spirit today, carry out the work of global evangelization, the proclamation and practices of the apostolic church. The PMCC - 4th Watch radio and television programs are saturating the airwaves daily with the uncompromised preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The church is also publishing The Word magazine, which has several thousands of endorsements and accolades both from the government agencies and civic groups. Each month, the church launches its missions that provide free medicine and consultation to anyone regardless of their religious creed and affiliation. Medical practitioners involved in the mission include doctors, dentists, therapists and nurses too. Every member is taught and trained to live their lives free from both spiritual and moral evils plaguing the lives of many today. Members are also constantly encouraged to live with the attitude that they are servants of God, and thus, must use every opportunity and means to advance the will of God in this world. As the PMCC (4th Watch) Carson local church celebrates its 14th anniversary, we are once more affirming our devotion to Christ our Lord and Savior and who gave Himself for us to save us from our sins. We are also unashamedly proclaiming that he alone and His work at the cross on Calvary as man's only way to be free. We also give thanks to God for rising up a man whom he first called so that in turn could receive God's calling. The Bereans: Apologetics Research Minisry
Example of PMCC - 4th Watch deceptive doctrinal discourse: Excerpt from The Word Magazine Vol. 12 No. 103 April 2003 Hebrews 2:3 says, "How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation, which at first began to be spoken by the Lord and was confirmed to us by those who hear Him." It is unfortunate the Pentecostals has defined full gospel as the belief on Jesus as the healer and baptizer of the Holy Spirit only. Of course with this two is also the belief as Jesus the Savior and coming King. These are true but there are more. For in reality the gospel answered all the results of sin in man. And what were the results of sin in man? Because of sin, man was separated from God. It is this separation from God that way man so badly needed the gospel. Being separated from God, man became mortal and corruptible. He becomes susceptible to disease. He becomes weak and lonely. He lost his right to enter heaven or paradise. He becomes susceptible to the deceptions of the devil. He is confused and do not know the way. His spirit becomes without life and was overpowered by the desires of the body. In short, man becomes controlled of under his lower instinct. He becomes a physical creation. He is no different from the beast of the field. No wonder Jude called "like brute beast" (Jude 10). Man was created by God as a powerful creature. He was no supposed to die. Death is the result of sin. The command and promised to him was, "But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." Genesis 2:17 If Adam had obeyed this command, he would have not died. Instead, he would have lived eternally. Of course, we know that this death is not only physical but spiritual. Not only was man created as an eternal being, but a powerful being also notice Genesis 1:28, "Then God blessed them and God said to them: Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth." This promise was reiterated to the obedient Noah in Genesis 9:2, "And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered." Life and power always go together. When man has the life from God, he was a powerful creature, but when he died, he lost everything. While living his separated existence, man was controlled by intense sorrow, with the deceptions and wills of the devil, putting him under the bondage of sin. Struggle as he may with all his human educations and wisdoms, he discovered to his dismay that he is under the mercy of Satan. Man without the gospel is destined to live his short life in misery only to die a Christ-less death and go to a hopeless eternity. But through the gospel all that was lost because sin is restored through faith on the gospel. Eternal life is restored. Together with this is the power John the Baptist promised: "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire" Matthew 3:11. The Lord Himself promised such experience of power. "For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghosts not many days hence" Acts 1:5. With this power of the "saved" he can be a witness for Christ. He will live the life with power over sin and Satan. His peace of mind has also provided by the gospel (Isaiah 53:5). His sorrow has also been taken away and his corruptible body has been provided with healing. Man because of his sin was, destined to live a curse life, but all these have been changed. For through the gospel he has been set free. "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree" Galatians 3:13. Every effect of sin on man has been taken away once a person receives salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. Do not let this great salvation slipped away from you. Open your heart and let Him come in. And taste a life that is free and abundant. |
